At the second meeting of the WTO’s newly established working group on food security held on 1 March, members focused on financing challenges that impede the ability of least-developed countries (LDCs) and net food-importing developing countries (NFIDCs) in addressing the ongoing food security crisis. They reflected on the substantive information gained from the workshop on financing held on 28 February and reviewed the initial outcomes of a questionnaire on needs assessment.
